The Author Exposed

I think I should finally add one of these. Everybody’s doing it, so I thought I might have a crack at it as well .

My name is Boran Pivčić, resident of Zagreb, Croatia (for those who may have missed that bit ). I’m 25 and an aspiring (I think) aeronautics student. My first diploma got me a B.Eng in aeronautics – air traffic control, while my second one is an M.Eng with more general “air transport” ring to it (hard to describe, pretty much ground ops at an airport). I’m also a CPL pilot with 210-odd hours ([brag] at 17 once proudly the youngest pilot in Cro [/brag]) and “frozen” ATPL Theory, wishing to find myself behind the controls of my own Sukhoi Su-31 sometime in the future.

As is noticeable, I have quite an interest in photography, both aviation and non-av. My camera equipment, used to capture virtually all the photos on this (and my previous) blog, consists of:

Canon EOS 20D camera
Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera
Canon EF 17-40 F/4 L wideangle lens
Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L telephoto lens
Canon EF 100-400 F/4.5-5.6 L IS telephoto lens
Canon EF-S 17-85 F/4-5.6 IS (backup) wideangle lens

and generally costs more than I do.
